2016 Chevy Silverado with Rockford Fosgate

Some of our most enjoyable installs at Bakersfield Car Audio is turning a factory system into a Rockford Fosgate system.  Yesterday, a customer came into Bakersfield Car Audio with a 2016 Chevy Silverado for an install.

We changed the factory door speakers to the Rockford Fosgate R165X3 door speakers and the Rockford Fosgate R169X3 door speakers. Due to limited space in the 2016 Silverado, we put in a subwoofer box under the seat and 2 Rockford P1S2-10s (shallow 10″ subwoofers).   To push the system, we used a Rockford Amp R300X4 4 Channel Amp.   Because the customer wanted to keep the factory head unit, we added the Audio Control LC-2i to get the most out of the factory stereo.
